Probably been asked a thousand times but what is the number one thing to do to make my V6 mustang alot faster without nos and an engine swap? I was thinking turbo but maybe you guys know something else??? And whatever it is how much??? Thanks

What is s/c??? Any kind of turbo brand you recomend?

What is the diffrence between a SuperCharger and Turbo? And is there a diffrence between Turbo and turbo charged? Thanks

 

supercharger is belt driven and turbo is fed off of exhaust.

turbo gives more power for a particular level of boost but either works fine. you can get s/c up to 20psi and more but that is insane power for a 3.8 block

 

The gain there HP in different places in the RPM range. Turbos are a harder install than superchargers. Both will give you performance boost, its all about the tune though.

Anyway I'm pretty happy with my setup, ( see below) My car actually feels faster than my previous car, a Northstar powered STS that put down 300HP, Im sure now that my Mustang would be able to beat my old STS up until about the end of 3rd gear... where the cadillac would finally start to pull away hard and on to a top speed of 150mph! ( no i havnt taken the STS up to that speed, but not that far off, fastest was 135mph chasing a 99 Cobra [:@] guy had just about 2 cars on me)
