Lightbulb 1999 split port mods?

i am curious if there are any mods for the split port intake system? i understand that one port gives air at certain rpms/load and the other is opened at higher rpms...is there a way to have the secondary port open all the time? or would it hurt my performance? any info would be greatly appreciated

You can swap the split port upper intake manifold of the windstar which flows runners. I don't think your idea would be any good, no offense. Check vapauto.com for the kit and info about it.

x2 with what Shaun said. if you dont want to go the windstar and you dont want to get your upper and lower ported then vapauto sells a upper intake gasket that is supposed to give a bump in performance.

iirc you will need a tune to go along with the windstar intake. as far as a tuner get one from vmptuning.com
