Default Hello everyone...

New to the site with a brand new (to me) 2004 Mustang... and it's a blue one. I'm thinking of adding fog lights to the front and sequential blinking lights to the tails lights. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with my pretty Stang.

And a picture with my other ride... a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard M50.

By the way, if anyone has any suggestions on fog lights or sequential blinkers (parts or installations), let me know or where to look on the site.

Looks good man!

For fog lights, I recommend OEM Ford lights from a GT. All you need need are the brackets and housings, no wires. When you get those, you will need to order a wiring kit from VMP Tuning and then order a switch from somewhere like Autozone (or find one on Ebay). Follow the instructions, wire it up and you'll be good as soon as you get bulbs! haha

By the way, where in Texas are you?

Go with OEM fogs all the way! Dont get aftermarket fogs, they look horrible (IMO)

Thanks,
Matthew

I found fog lights here that fit right into the slots below the headlights and look like the GT's. Are these OK or do you guys still recommend OEM from the dealer? I was talking to a mechanic friend (I won't be doing it myself because I'm a ******** doing this kind of thing and I want it done right) and he said it needs to be wired into the headlight switch or dimmer switch so if I turn on my highbeams it shuts off the fog lights. What's the best way to wire these up (or does that VMP Tuning harness take care of all that)? How does the GT have them wired? I already replaced the stock bulbs with Sylvania Silver Stars (I also have that on my bike) and they're a lot brighter than the stock. I don't even need the highbeam but sometimes the roads here aren't light at all and you need that extra light.

Synyster06Gates, I'm in NW Fort Worth/Lake Worth area. How about you?

Thanks for all the compliments. It's only a V-6 3.9 Liter but it only had 61,700 miles on it when I bought it last week. I found it in Waco at Jeff Hunter Toyota (I-35W and Highway 6) on www.autotrader.com. They even drove it up here from Waco and delivered it right to my door free of charge. To sweeten the pot he gave me a free 3,000 mile/3 month warranty on the drive train so I'm driving it as much as I can tolerate it but I still need to feel the wind on my face from what you can only get on a motorcycle.

I don't plan on lowering it. I don't see the point and as it is I have a hard time getting in and out of it with my bad knee the way it is. I fully plan on keeping it mostly stock.

Don't start modding it then haha you won't want to start. But if it is an auto, I would recommend a tuner. Its more fun to drive, pulls harder, better mpg in some cases. Just makes it an all around more fun car. Then stop there. Check vmptuning.com for the fog lights and wiring harness. Also, nice blue stang. low miles, clean, looks nice man.
