windstar upper W/ WMS intake?
Has anyone used the windstar upper intake with the WMS high velocity intake for the 05-08 stangs on their 3.8L? If so can you post some pics. If not does anyone know of any problems that might come with doing that?

Looks like $300 for a flat filter? I don't see the advantage at all for that much money. Its like a ram air kit drawing hotter air from the engine bay when you can make the windstar intake tube so the filter is isolated in the fender-well.

V8 version of what? I can build the windstar kit yourself. Some stuff might be easier to order prefabbed from vap. But I just don't see an advantage to putting the filter right infront of the tb in the hot engine bay, especially for $300.

Why is that $200 cheaper? And if your serious about drifting, you need to get into some more serious stuff than a ram air intake that will take 1 second off your 50-100 time because you'll never be going 50-100 drifting. I think the money could be better spent elsewhere, personally. Lowering intake temps is always good though.

dosnt the windstar intake up low end torque...and the second link is just for the box. I currently have a home made short ram sucking hot engine bay air anyhow.

Soulja you need to get that car to the track and see what it'll to with that nice list of mods. I'm really curious. And to op, your "homeade" intake is probably making less power than the stock setup. The windstar does help low end torque but once again I think you should be more concerned about your turbo setup and selectig the right turbo/setup for what you want.
