Default Bright headlights other than HID?

I bought HID headlights for my 97 Mustang and they are bright and everything but some idiot backed into my car and messed up my front end. Well everything is fixed except the HID system is all out of wack...

If I switch back to regular non HID bulbs, what are the best bulbs to buy? I had Silverstars and they sucked. What about Hella or PIAA? I know PIAA off roads are sweet but how good are the bulbs?

Whelp I don't know anything about Hella or PIAA but I would say that the HID's were your best yet.

If you were a 99-04 I would suggest a set of projectors from American Muscle. Mine are millions of times better (imo ) than my 95's, the wife's 96' or the wife's 97' Cobra ever were.

Going up to the New Edge body is quite literally like seeing the light because it is just that much better.

Now I did buy a set of projectors for my 95' way back when they were first coming out and I hated them. I couldn't aim them like my 01's and they were dim. The low beams woke earthworms and the high beams brought down helicopter's.... Not a good headlight at all.

Good luck and for what its worth, Cobra headlights with HID's are probably your best bet.

I have silverstar Ultras on my 99 and I didnt notice a difference between stock bulbs w/ stock housing and Silverstars w/ tinted headlights.

I put the regular Silverstars in my truck and I have to say they are pretty damn bright.

i use and sell silverstar ultras. They are noticeably brighter, but they have 1/4 the life span, on average, than the standard halogen bulb. and for the 50-60$ price, they aren't worth it. you can get some off ebay for like 10$. hid's are the brightest lights i know of...
