Default hi flow cats?

hey guys,

i am looking to replace by bbk shorties i got a while back for some longtubes, but my car is my daily driver and has to be street legal, so ill need some sort of high flow cat.

are the longtubes, with high flow cats worth the upgrade, or does putting the cat in there just take away from the performance boost?

thanks

The cats will actually help you keep some of your low end power you would lose with a full off-road setup on a stock 3.8. So no, they won't take away from your performance at all.

One of the better highflows to go with is a Bassani and they are 49 state legal, CA is the odd one out.

They wont crush and break apart if you bottom out which makes them idea of lowered cars.

stangmods has the macs that will fit. 01-04 style. The ones I have will fit an auto vert as well seeing as thats what I have. People have been having fitment issues with pacesetters I think.
