Whats a recommended air filter? (Stock filter now)

Also changing the wires and plugs.

Get yourself a k&n air filter and remove the rubber "snorkel" that goes into the fender. It will pretty much give you the same gains as a cai. As far as wires and plugs, I've never had any problems with my msd wires. You don't need anything crazy for plugs, stock copper replacements will work fine. NGK iridiums are good too but more expensive.

Sounds like the way to go.

Or go Windstar intake and never worry about dealing with the CAI vs K&N filter again

^ not yet...I am going to go with the M112 in the next year so its a waste...

Can i do this with the stock Airfilter for now? (Remove the snorkel)

Is that what you are talking about? The rubber piece that goes from the cover into the fender?...Wouldn't you wanna leave that in cuz it directs the air from the fender straight into the Filter instead of the air just flowing into the engine bay and then going where ever?
