those are some prety heavy numbers! lol no wonder Mustangs are such porkers.. LOL

Well my car weighs in at around 3,000lbs

because for one its a coupe, and its the base v6 with a 5-speed, no anti lock brakes, no cruise control non of that...i also took the spare and jack/tools out...

here are some specs

Curb Weight

Base V6 coupe w/ 5spd trans. 3064 lbs.

-note that an auto trans weighs more than a manual**

GT coupe w/ 5spd trans. 3237 lbs.

Convertible V6 5speed 3203 lbs.

Convertible GT 5speed 3375 lbs

I guess ill throw in a fun fact while im at. The reason why V6 coupes with a some bolt-ons can hang with stock GTs off the line is because of the V6 weight advantage.

Another plus is that our V6s arent as nose heavy, due to the V8 being heavier obviously. Which can translate to better handling, that is if you can match or even beat the GTs spring rate of 450 in fron and 210 in back. You can exceed thise rates by going with stiffer springs like FM C springs for example. Gt sway bar in the rear and a thicker front would make your V6 beter around corners than a GT.
