Tuner help/advice/suggestions Modding v6 help
I have an automatic v6 and I have no performance upgrades yet, what would be the best upgrades to start off with? cold air intake? tuner? new wheels/tires? new brakes? exhaust? whats the best exhaust for a v6 for the best money? I was thinking just a y-pipe to make it dual and open it up some? any advice/suggestions are more than welcome, thank you.
Im in the same position your in. Bone stock V6, but from reading around on the forum I came up with a little list of what to do and when to do it.
First thing you definitely wanna do it get a tuner and some gears, then go for the dual exhaust/intake and bigger mods. Thats what im planning on doing at least...
From what I hear, the tuner/gears really open up the automatic v6's, even without any other mods.

AmericanMuscle sells tuner/gear packages, look at those.

Im pretty sure the 4.10 gears are best on autos (someone correct me if im wrong). The Traction Lok (look at the included options in link above) makes it so both wheels spin.
As for exhaust, personally id go with an off road H pipe ($100-$200), and a dual catback system (depends on brand etc...) You could easily have a shop custom fabricate a mid-pipe/cat-back for around $500 also....
Hopefully this info is some help to you. Im new here myself but have learned a good amount from just searching around. Theres tons of info on here.

straight divorced pipes from the cats back with thrush mufflers and GT cutoffs. you can do this for $200-$300 and it'd by far the cheapest set up i've seen.
