Default Really bad engine problem

So pretty much I was pushing the pedel to the metal on a highway and my car got to 110 and got off the gas. and the rpms were at 5k ( automatic) and I got off and my car jerked and dropped down to 1k rpms (on a highway going 80 mph) then on the off ramp my car wouldent let me get higher then 2k rpms and it made a reallllyyyy bad sound, sounded almost like the sound when a chain falls off a bike and you get the clunk sound. Then I pulled onto a road and my battery light came on and the car stalled out. I poped the hook and everything seemed to be in place so I opened the valve where the oil goes in and it had alotttt of white smoke inside the valve and head. smelled like oil plus burning something? not sure how to describe the smell...not good tho. I waited 15 mins and re started the car and it was able to go past 2k rpms but it sounded like marbles in the engine? Nooooo clue what I did, mabey broke a seal or something? anyone have an idea of how screwed I am ????

sure sounds like you blew the motor. Might have lost a valve if your lucky. My roomate lost a valve on his Ranger. Dropped into the cylinder and gouged the crap out of the cylinder walls but was fixable, sounded like a lawn mower running over a bunch or rocks.

Time for a splitport swap and not driving triple digits on public roads.

btw, just search splitport swap or search my name and splitport swap.
You will find all of the info that you need to do the swap.

IMO its the only option when you have to replace the engine or even a blown head gasket "SWAP IT!"

I was looking at his name, I thought he had a 97' but your right, his vehicle says its an 03'...

Well being an 03' maybe your lucky, at least as far as the heads up goes, if you did something to the bottom end then thats just bad.

If it comes back blown how much would you want for her?
I would have to pay about $800 for shipping so make it a good price Provided that she is an 03'.

How did you blow it up at 110. You didn't even Max it out. Is it an auto, and you didn't shift it, or what's the deal(know a guy who took his classic Tbird to 110 in second gear racing another friend, it held together. The next morning he went to start it, NO GO. Once everything Cooled off, it was TOAST). That motor sounds like it's HISTORY from the description. Probably a rod knock, possibly burned the bearings up, piston rings, tough to say.

Not a bad assumption on sucking a valve, you might be right on the money Matt
