there are performance converters out there. havent researched them since i dont plan on doing one though. if you are planning on keeping your car as a daily driver, then you should probably just keep the one you have.

exactly if you swap it out for a higher stall converter you will lose some if not all of your daily drive ability

Call Boss Hog, they make a nice torque converter. Changing your torque converter is a great mod and one of the biggest bang for the buck mods you can do. 888-267-7464. You can still use your car as a driver any day of the week. Your car will take off like a rocket but only when you slam your foot down on the gas. You will notice no difference in the way your car drives. It will act like stock until you put your foot down hard. I know I have changed the torque converter on two of my cars. You will be a happy man if you like laying down some rubber. Thanx Muzzy PS: I own a dealership so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to cars.

I've had a 3500 stall in a Mopar before, there great for High HP applications(crazy fun), but suck for driving in traffic or just driveability in general. Those kind of performance parts are better for weekend warriors hitting the drag strip every once in awhile. Get a tuner, or go with some gears or something.

Six, I wouldn't go above 2500 for a daily driver, acutually the perfect converter for the street IMO.

I know GIRLS that drive around every day with 3k/3200 converters in camaros, a PROPERLY BUILT ONE won't effect drive-ability much if any. If you buy a cheap eBay special then you get what you pay for.

Torque converts are like breast implants... Expensive and once you get it done you will wish you went a size bigger

I've owned a fully built Reverse Manual Valve Body 3500K stall, the works, a tranny that cost almost 3k(behind a 11K motor, sold, but doubled up), No ebay parts (Owner owns a twin GN). It's cool if your ride spin 8 -8500k, but a v6 going to 5500, why bother. I never said you couldn't, but for a DD it's OVERKILL. It sounds like you look up to those GIRLS.

I have to disagree even further, there is only so big you should go with breast implants, otherwise they look like abnormal footballs that a quarterback should be throwing to a wide receiver. I commend you for driving a 3500k stall for a year, I hope the car is worth it at least.

Nah, just those two GIRLS don't whine as much as you do.
