Default Two Problems

02 Mustang, V6 Auto. First problem. After I let up on the brake pedal the brake light comes on. After about 5-10 seconds the light goes off. My first thought would be a vacuum leak. Anybody experienced this before? Where should I start looking.
Second problem. While driving along at a constant speed, say about 35 MPH, it feels like the transmission grabs very briefly, less than a second, then let's you go again. RPM stays the same so I don't think it's downshifting. Intermittent problem.
