Default A/C question

Im sure yall are sick of answering my question but none of my parts stores seem to be able to answer my question lol. Are the cores in the High and low pressure valve repairable or do you just have to replace the whole valve and core? My valves are leaking at the cores so im going to vacuum out the lines and fix it this weekend.

This is all my Haynes Manual has to say "The air Conditioning system is under high pressure. DO NOT loosen any fittings or components until after the system has been discharged" and "The accumulator/drier stores refrigerant and removies moisture from the system. When any major air cond. component has been apart and exposed to the air for any length of time, the accumulator/drier must be replaced." To me that says yes, you will have to replace the vacuum and drier units.

What I say " Loose the A/C and get a A/C delete."
