Default CAI question

ok, i'm looking into CAI and have found a few places to get it but the prices range from like $70 into the $300's. i've also heard never get it off e-bay (which i wouldn't anyway)

After looking through the sites i can't find any airflow specs to compare the cheaper to the more expensive ones. here are just a couple that i've found:

http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...Air-Intake-Kit

http://www.americanmuscle.com/94-98-...ir-intake.html

any info and tips would help a lot. (i've got a '94 v6 if you couldn't tell)

honestly i would just go with the american muscle cai, they all work the same and with am you dont have to deal the ebay. Or you could go with the air silencer delete and the k&n drop in but i heard the intake on the 94-98 was more restrictive than the 99-04( the the air silencer delete and k&n drop in or more for that year) and also your gonna get better mpg and a tiny bit more hp and sound.

i've already got a k&n drop in. the car is stock and im just getting around to working on it since it wont be my DD anymore and figured a CAI would be a nice cheaper way to start until i can get more cash

well if i were you i would just keep what you have, and remove the air silencer, follow this guide,

http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/intke.htm

it takes like 5 secs, and i was told it has the same gains as a cai, and you can save your money for other mods

Forget the CAI kit, buy a k&n filter that fits the stock air box, and call it done.

If your dead set on putting a CAI on, order an Ebay one for $30. They're all the same
