Default EGR problems

hi everyone, i haven't been here in a loong time but im back now, and i have a question

on my 2000 3.8L mustang, it keeps throwing me engine codes and when i get them read, it tells me that my EGR flow is insufficient and too great at the same time, and the check engine light is on sometimes and it goes off for a period of time sometimes as well, it could last a day without it or a few seconds, theres no real rhyme or reason to it, but its just confusing me, just wondering if anyone would have any idea as to what might be wrong here, thanks in advance

could be the EGR inlet itself, or maybe one of the sensors

Make sure the tube isn't messed up and none of the vac lines are damaged/disconnected. It may also be the other sensor that's right by the EGR. I don't remember what it's called, though. I think it's the DPFE sensor? That's what it seems like since it's reading too much AND too little, seem like the pressure feedback is off
