Default Spark Plugs and wires

Im canning my screamin deamon coil pack because its acting screwy. I also have "Livewires" and "Autolite Iridium" plugs. Two wires were broken, I pulled the plugs and the sides of them are dark brown to black.

They are a year and a half old and have 25k miles on them. Are they bad or is this normal? I was running rich but I had it tuned by VMP 3 months ago to fix that.

btw do the autolites come pre gapped?

Motorcraft coil + MSD wires + NGK TR-5's = WIN!!!!

I run TR-6's for the sake of the blower. It works, it's simple, it's cheap, go with it.

Yeah I don't know why the screamin deamon stuff became so popular over known brands, because of their bs claims probably. I agree with Ryan, I had stock coil, msd wires, ngk plugs.

My plugs dont look "that" bad to be honest so Im going to keep them.. Its the wires and coilpack giving me trouble. I got a Motorcraft coilpack & wires. The MSD's were $100.

I would go ahead and replace your plugs, they may not look bad but that doesn't mean they aren't bad.

Cool, I see the Tr-5's are gapped at .035 and the TR-55's are .050, whats the difference, I thought they were suppose to be at .053?
