Im canning my screamin deamon coil pack because its acting screwy. I also have "Livewires" and "Autolite Iridium" plugs. Two wires were broken, I pulled the plugs and the sides of them are dark brown to black.
They are a year and a half old and have 25k miles on them. Are they bad or is this normal? I was running rich but I had it tuned by VMP 3 months ago to fix that.
btw do the autolites come pre gapped?

Yeah I don't know why the screamin deamon stuff became so popular over known brands, because of their bs claims probably. I agree with Ryan, I had stock coil, msd wires, ngk plugs.
My plugs dont look "that" bad to be honest so Im going to keep them.. Its the wires and coilpack giving me trouble. I got a Motorcraft coilpack & wires. The MSD's were $100.
No, I said I bought the motorcraft wires. I "found" MSD wires for $100. Im going to keep the autolite plugs I put in a year and a half ago. They don't look that bad. btw are autolites and NGK's pregapped?
