Default Performance mods

Looking to add some performance mods to my mustang. looking at a K&N air intake right now on american muscle for about $250. I was just seeing what everyone else has done to theirs to add more performance and it might possibly give me some ideas about what to do to mine. I've also thought about an engine swap on down the road but from what i hear its a money pit to get it done right. About how much would it cost to do an engine swap for a brand new engine or just a v8 out of a GT?

well im kind of in the same boat as you but ive been thinking about swapping engines in mine, mostly cuz mines a very crappy v6 and isnt realy worth modding out and i got it for dirt cheap, but anyway from what ive heard most people say its more cost efficient to just sell yours and get a gt, or try and find a realy cheap wrecked one, good luck with that though, its pretty slim pickins around here anyway idk bout your area but thats my .02 soooo yeah......good luck XD

The kind of swap you want to do is cheaper to just buy a GT, or go get a new v6 and have 300hp stock

Back to reality though, all intakes tend to net about the same power, and drop in K&N or AFE does just as well.

I heard running two sets of rims allows you to get more traction.

Avoid the motor swap unless you are swapping in a built V6.

Yeah, I had too much stuff in the garage, so I got rid of a few rear ends and sold off all my extra wheels. I may pick up a set of FR500's in black though, just so I can change things up a little bit.

I have a Cobra R hood in the garage now too, so even though I parted with a few things, other stuff keeps showing up lol
