Default 8.8 question

So picking up an 8.8" SRA for my car what gears are recommended for a turbocharged manual 4.2L? Also what are the other parts that i will need? Y don't we have this under our tech articles?

I have been offered one that has sway bar, arms, tokico shocks and bbk drag launch springs.

What do I need to do the the axle if anything?

is it from a 99-04 or a 94-98? Im almost positive that the UCA bolt hole needs to be enlarge from 12mm to 14mm on the 94-98 8.8's.

If its from a 94-98 then the lower control arm bolt holes on the axle side will need to be enlarged from a 12mm to a 14mm. You can do that with a 9/16ths drill bit.

It takes me 15 minutes to do a rear axle swap, literally, I've timed it lol.

You'll need a 12pt 12mm for the driveshaft bolts, and possibly a flex. An impact makes all the difference in the world.

DO NOT tighten any of the control arm bolts unless you have the weight of the car on the rear axle. It will cause binding.
