Planning on totally re-doing suspension....
^ good to know. I've read that the company was formed by a former employee of maximum motorsports. But looks like I'm going to stick with either mm for my car and probably try lakewood on the new addition to the family(little sisters car).
Sorry I missed this.
My K member was bought used out of a 2001 GT - so you can use the one in the link for the 4.6L. No worries.
Lightening up the front and improving the geometry by relocating the springs outward around the struts is a breath of fresh air into a tired horse of a suspension set up. You'll love it. Forget the power (or lack of) the V6 offers. This will really wake up your car. I know several V6 guys who are stock (save for cai and dual exhaust) who can hold their own on the road course with big hp V8 Mustangs due to having better suspensions/brakes under them.
I ran coilovers on mine for a year or so way back in the day. Ground Pounder set up over Bilsteins. Great set up, but it bumped me up a class where I was racing, and I was getting my butt kicked repeatedly. Haha.
As for Bils vs Koni or Tokico shocks/struts.. the Bils (depending on valving) will be a harsher ride on the street.

I like the MM k-member, I'll be perched undder one tomorrow when we put the tranny back in my buddy's Termi. I have a PA Racing k-member in my attic for another friend's car that I'm building the motor for and it looks really nice.
KENNY BROWN just started making k-members again!!!!!!!!! They're a bit pricey as a kit, but they're also where MM got their design. I'm saving for mine.
For the rear, panhard bar, torque arm, and lca's from MM. Eliminate the uppers all together with that setup.
Stay away from QA1 front struts, they suck. The rear shocks are great though. I have Bilstiens and they can be harsh, but they're stiff when they need to be. You can run a softer shock/strut setup and still get great handling by compensating with other components.
Just always know, quality isn't cheap, and race cars weren't meant to be comfy.

thanks for the info ryan! i think that answers the rest of my questions. i think im pretty set on getting everything from MM, we will see.
so would i be better off eliminating the upper control arms? what would you recommend for mostly street driving?

ok was looking around... with panhard bar, torque arm, and lower control arms, would i need a sway bar? would it even have room?
and what should i go with, adjustable or nonadjustable LCAs? advantages?

When you do the MM rear setup, you need to switch to coilovers. Your lower control arms won't even have a spring perch. You CAN do adjustables, but setting up a completely adjustable suspension isn't for the novice. I recommend using a shop that specializes in that, and then you will really see improvement. I also recommend using MM's sway bar kit, I'd go with the weld in over the bolt in, but either way is fine.
