Doing a few things to get the Mustang looking as best it can. Looking for an Ash Tray Cover, but haven't been able to find one as of yet. I would get those cup holders that delete the need for a cover, but something tells me those might look ugly. eBay doesn't have them. Anybody has an extra I'll buy it off of them. Somebody could make a few good bucks making these if they aren't around...

Mustangs have ashtrays? Who would ruin there interior with horrible smoking anyways, just get a console out of a 01-04... It fits right in and looks 1000X's better.

 

I could use a whole new console, if it would fit in exactly. I don't want to pay out of the butt for it though...and want it to match tit for tat with my interior.

 

they arn't expensive just find them in junkyards they make the same colors through out.

 

What year did they switch over to the cup holders that get in the way of shifting instead of the ash trays that have the doors break?

 

I'll check junk yards maybe but no close good ones around here AFAIK.

I also have to get a new door panel top. Needed one anyways, but just broke a clip on mine too. Sigh...

 

well, I know '96 has the ashtray and '98 has the annoying cupholders...

 

My mustang doesnt even have a cup holder... it has been converted to a change holder.

+1 to the ashtray thing. I have never used the ashtray in my truck. Crack the window, ash out the window, throw the butt outside.

I cringe when I see an old lady smoking with all the windows rolled up. Like ****, do you like driving around in a cloud?

 

There are 3 yards close around here that I'm aware of, what part do you mean by the door panel top?

 

The black leather part of the top of the door. My interior is gray/black. Top part of door is black...need that whole part. Wouldn't be bad to have the actual panel that has the switches on it too (I have power windows, could cut them out if not).
