I am a fan of Borla myself.
The 96' has them and I plan to run them on my 01'.

I think they sound pretty damn good on our sixxers and arent too loud.
Mine had turn downs so I had pretty bad drone, they will still drone with full exhaust.

The 96' had its stock shorty headers, a custom 94/95 GT/Cobra BBK O/R H-pipe and of course it was a splitport with ported heads and intakes and a few other things.
