Well you need to understand how your engine really works before you mod it. But basically what you did was buy a bigger throttle body that will slow down the air velocity and possibly cause turbulance because your throttle body is bigger than your upper plenum opening. You need to port and polish you intakes and heads to make your throttle body worth while.

Good luck. They're on at least a 10 week backorder at BBK. That's why I bought mine on E-bay. Nobody else has them. (That I could find)

Definately. In this point in time, the larger TB will disrupt your airflow and could possibly(almost certain) cause you to loose low end torque and hurt your performance over all becuase of the same reasons I stated above. When modifying your engine, it's always best to start from the middle and work outward. In this case the camshaft/heads/ intakes would be the middle. The exhaust would be one direction while the induction path would be the other. The reason for this is you need to elimate your smallest bottleneck for any serious change to your engines performance. the stock MAF is about 70mm, your stock TB is 60mm. The opening on your upper intake is 60mm. So would buying a 75mm MAF creat a differance in your performance? No. You still have a 60mm bottleneck at your TB and your upper intake. And buying a 70mm TB would help either because you still have the 60mm hole in your upper intake. So with out enlarging this hole you would have a 5mm lip on the inside of your TB which would act like a wall stopping the air and causing it to force it's way into your engine causing airflow disruption. But you still have even smaller holes in your lower intake and heads that you should worry about first. Does this help you out and make sense to you?

97 stallion has a great point, def something to consider, try going towards the other direction and spend theextra money to get you're upper and lower manifold ported and polisehd. You can either do it yourself

port and polish upper and lower intakes

or buy one already done and ready to be bolted on from

good luck
