what stae/city are you in? if you have to have cats, get a highflow midpipe and that alone will awaken your exhaust. your factory setup has the 4 cats and the Y pipe, you dont still have the Y flange do you? how many cats are still on it? if you are running all 4 cats, cut off the 2 long ones that run parallel to the ground and replace them with straight pipe.

Or you can just have the "dump" exhaust which is cutting off the pipes on the other side of the muffler so the exhaust is coming right out of the muffler..that sounds good

magnaflow side exit? just you want it louder with magnaflows, you have to ditch atleast 2 of the cats and the Y flange. i had to to get my sound

My sounds really mean, but I don't have any cats and some loud mufflers. I think it sounds better than some V8's...but that's my opinion. Oh!, and I have an x-pipe, but I'm not sure how that changes the sound.

The x-pipe makes a lot of differnece in the sound, ditch 2 of the cats and put either a x pipe or a h pipe in and it should make a big differnece for you. To keep your law emmisions legal you have to have 1 cat per line just keep that in mind.

H is deeper and X is a little louder. with the 3.8L firing order, there is no difference in performance

Getting rid of cats is illegal...but it WILL make it much louder if that is what you want. Just come around emissions time you better have a "hook up" somewhere.

Our vehicle is a 95 v6 mustang.....and nobody ever believes when we say its a V6 until we pop the hood for them...check it out:
