1998 Truckstang!
Hello guys, I'm new here, and rather new to the mustang family. I picked up a 1998 dark green V6 mustang a couple years ago, It has relatively high miles but the body is nearly perfect, not really any rust and very minor cosmetic problems. The reason I bought it was to turn it into a truckstang! my dad has always wanted to cut the back of a car off so he could use it to drive around and pick stuff up for the farm and get better gas mileage than his f-150.
Only paid $1000 bucks for the car and all we did was put new tires on it. So I was wondering if anyone had done this before or if anyone knew of a thread about it, maybe some pictures and stuff to give us a good idea how to go about it. We're hoping to get started once all the corn is planted. I tried searching but couldn't find anything really...but I'll keep trying.
Thanks!

haha, No I'm not joking. We hauled almost 1000 pounds of fertilizer with it the other day. It was a pain to fill the trunk, back seat, and front seat with bags. A nice truck bed would be easier.
I'm just gonna remove back window, rear seat, trunk lid and everything else behind the front seats. Probably gonna need the saw to cut some stuff. Its probably not going to look as nice as those pictures, but its just a farm car.
I've done a little fiberglassing in my day so I may get carried away...we'll see.
