rims size spec!!?!?!?
I want to buy some rims for my 00 v6 stang. My size is 5 lugs, 114.3mm. Is this right?
And what is an offset? is it importaint when I am buying the rims? if yes, what is the right
offset size? By the way, is it possible to install something like 5X100?
Thanks
Denis

Don't remember the lug offset off the top of my head but if it's a 5x114.3mm that the car takes, a 5x100 will not fit. That has do with how far apart each lug hole is (lug pattern).
There is also a negative and positive offset for rims. That deals with how much over hang there is on either side of the center of the rim. Deep Dish wheels have a very high positive offset compared to shallow dish wheels. There is a specific amount you can go plus or minus from stock because if you go too far either way, you will affect the handling of the car and/or steering radius (wheel will hit the inner fender when turning)
The website below explains it better than me.
