i would like to see them build some of those hydrogen cars they have a lot more power than gas engines do. and its 2.79 here in Virginia
what part of va? it was 2.79 yesterday because us virginians like to run our mouths to the employees and managers at gas stations. you know a majority of the gas stations are losing a boat-load of money selling it at 2.79 and people still aren't happy. i'm in northern va around fairfax and shat.

I heard on the news that in Atlanta gas is over $5 a gallon and rising because almost all of their gas comes from Louisiana. Its gonna be a long time before gas gets back to normal.
I agree with everyone though, we need to remember the people hit by the hurricane and never forget. I live in Florida and know somewhat of what they're going through. They need every bit of help they can get.

Yeah, this is my first time to post cause I finally joined, though I've been reading them for a while. I just thought it was appropriate to mention that. But, gas is also getting really bad here, and going up like crazy. This is all part of the supply and demand thing though. I am willing to pay the cost of gas, if I can find it! I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Katrina caused people from N.O. to flood here. Our city has doubled in size and its getting really hard just to find gas. That is interesting about the pipelines and how long it takes to pump that in, though, I didn't know that.

since wednesday it has been between 3 and 4 bucks a gallon here in E GA. the stations pur bags over regular pumps and force consumers to buy 89+ octane. they also gouge prices here too. many of the station owners are being arrested and an ongoing investigation is underway. today it is 3.29 a gallon, yesterday it was 3.09.

i know that here, the reason why bags are going over pumps is because there simply isn't enough gas. Since regular unleaded is the most common, it makes since for that to run out first
