X-pipe or H-pipe?
H pipe and Magnaflows or flowmasters for a v6. do anything else and i will have my personal bodyguard pick a fight with you, get beat up by you, so you go to jail and spend the night being anally abused by bubba in cell block 6.
i went with the h-pipe, flowmaster setup and ill be the first to tell you in sounds like crap. at low rpms its decent but once you get over 3k it almost sounds as bad as a ricer. i cant wait to change the setup.
do you have cats? ive heard highflow H pipes and magnaflows and flowmasters on v6s and thats is all i would recommend. i wouldnt go offroad with stock cam and headers. yea, at WOT, mine is annoyingly loud but that is to be expected when ditching some cats

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I have true dual 40's with no X or H pipe and they sound GREAT! My only complaint is at around 2 to 3k they get quiet on deceleration. They sound great at idle and they sound great at top end, wot. The other thing I don't suggest is dumping your flows. I did and it so damn loud inside the car that it rattle the dash. I'm going to do a side exit or go back to rear exit. The only sound I hate on a V6 is that motor Boat sound that you get with exhaust that is too open and straight through like glass packs. They sound like an outboard motor boat, LOL.
