Longtube Headers?
i have a v6 mustang with sct tuned, k&n air filter, flowmasters, limited slip differential, and im looking forward to purchasing Long Tube headers.. i need help on info- how much money are we talking for installing them, (with cats) for emission tests. and what parts i need to install the lt headers, any help would be much appreciated thanks
if you do you know all new exhaust you'll need the hangers for the pipes, and as far as installation on headers, you are most likely looking at payin just as much as the longtubes cost is what ive been informed of
You can install the headers yourself if you have a buddy to help and a free weekend. But total cost is probably going to be close to a grand. Used headers sometimes pop up in the for sale section on other V6 specific forums, I got my used mac's for 175 shipped so look around before buying new right away. If you already have a dual exhaust you'll need the headers, gasket, O2 sensor extensions, two high flow cats, mac h pipe. I would take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld the cats on the h pipe and then mate your current dual exhaust to that. Like I said, be prepared to spend around a grand give or take a little.
