Mach 460 Help
I have a 2001 with the mach 460 system, I've recently purchased a kenwood head unit, and I've been trying to install it myself. I've done some research and found out that i needed a special wiring harness, so I purchased one from autozone, they gave me the 70-5700 metra harness.
I spent the time wiring the metra harness to the Kenwood harness, When I finished, I went to install it and there was no bass what-so-ever throughout the car. All the speakers were working, but there was no bass, any thoughts????
I can get and post pictures of everything I have if you need it,
I just need help.

The Mach 460 is a pesky unit when trying to convert it to aftermarket for the sole reason most aftermarket units run on 4 ohm, while the Mach 460 is make to opperate on 3 ohms. Double check all your wires but I'm willing to bet the kenwood doesn't have the proper built in cross over to tell the subs to turn on. That or you didn't wire it up correctly. There are several wiring harness adaptors but very few actually work right with the 460. Best bet is to go go either all aftermarket or leave it stock because after market components usually don't work very well with the 460 or 1000.
