Default Tlok rebuild kit

My friend was showing off the other day and broke the spider gears in his FRPP tlok. Is there a rebuild kit that he can get for it or does he have to get another tlok?

I tried to tell him that the FRPP unit sucked monkey *****. but he believed that it was the best on the market over the auburn and the detroit locker because the FRPP unit was "rebuildable".

yea i figured you had already told him this, you hear a lot about them breaking. well i did a quick search and it looks like you can go to a dealer and get a rebuild kit. summit and jegs supposedly dont have them. i just checked summit and they dont.

even if he does rebuild it, i bet it will break again. how long has he had it in the car?

He had it for I think 2.5 yrs. It would've lasted him bu he has a 98 auto v6 and he does a lot of neutral drops at high rpms. I will let him now about the dealer have the kits.

punch your friend in the face for doing neutral drops.... nothing hurts a trans more than that.

Its a matter of time before his 200k mile auto decides it doesn't have to put up with his bs anymore lol.

Fink I've considered punching him in the face and decided it would be a waste. It wouldn't change a thing.

Tell him that its either the trans is going to grenade or the motor mounts are going to fail.... Me and my boss were talking about neutral drops today and he told me a story about a guy in my town.

Basically this guy was doing neutral drops in an old Falcon, after a few times the motor mounts decided to rip out of the block, and then the engine spun around.... in the engine bay.
