Im about to do my 1st oil change to this stang since I got it, so is there any type of oil you guys would recommend over all the rest to keep the stang running good and strong?

 

any type of synthetic, i would go mobil 1 full synthetic.

 

I use Mobile 1 5w20. 5w20 is what's recommended. Also this extends the interval for oil changes.

 

ford recommends motorcraft 5w20 synthetic, so that's what i put in my car. oh, and it's cheaper than mobil1.

 

yes, but ford makes motorcraft so your using ford motor oil, I would say go with Royal Purple, but stay with the 5w-20 cause thats what they recomend.

I saw an episode of horsepower TV, where they put in Royal Purple Gear, tranny and oil fluids and gained 10 rwhp. Does anyone believe that?

 

yeah.. i'm using a motor oil that ford makes and ford recommends. are you proposing that's a bad thing? also, ford also recommends 5w20, not 5w30.
