Got my flowmasters installed
Well I got all the other stuff done so I finally had time to install the flowmasters.
by other stuff I mean ball joints, brakes, tie-rods, struts and shocks.
Anyway it went pretty well. I soaked the bolts at the Y pipe overnight in WD-40 and they came right off. The only real problem was the bolts Flowmaster supplied with the right rear hanger. ZERO chance of using nuts and bolts to install it. But a quick trip to Lowe's for some captive bolts (Like Ford used) and it was on.
They sound great and there is definitely an increase in acceleration. Did I mention they sound great.
And all for just $169.

Came across them on Ebay. A guy bought them and never installed the system. I was high bidder at $169 including shipping. Guess i just got lucky since the old muffler was shot.
They were still in the original boxes, hardware kit still closed. Even came with 2 sheets of flowmaster stickers.
