The car sat for most of the winter, and I wasn't able to really drive it much this summer either. The last time it was driven was July, I believe.

I jumped it a few weeks ago, but couldn't get it to start. I'm pretty sure it's the fuel pump. It cranks, but doesn't get any gas and runs fine on starting fluid.

The big problem right now is that car is currently parked on the road, and I need to get it into the driveway. I can shift it into neutral, but the car won't budge. I figured the brakes were probably rusted, so I jacked it up, took off the front wheel on the driver's side, and tried hitting it with mallet. It looked like the brake was closed, so I tried loosening the caliper to take the brake pad off, but no luck. I took the bolts completely out, tried the mallet on that, and still nothing.

I have limited tools, no money, and while I'm pretty good at figuring things out, my automotive knowledge is basic.

I would be infinitely grateful for any help. The car is currently sitting on the jack. I'll probably put the wheel back on in a little while and try again tomorrow. Hopefully with the advantage of new information.

If the rotor is not turning, it sounds like the pads are seized to the rotor. My suggestion would be: with the wheel off install the lug nuts to protect the wheel stud threads. Then place a bar between the lugs and use it to rock the rotor back and forth till it breaks free.

DO NOT use any type of spray (WD-40, PB Blaster, etc) unless you want to replace the pads.

 

It seems odd that after less than a year you would have major issues, more so if you weren't experiencing any brake issues prior to storage. Have you tried breaking it free by a gentle tug from another car? I've pulled cars into garages with sedans by just shortening the chain and adjusting where they two ends were linked. My 94 was parked for 3 years before I bought it, granted it was parked on a hill for those three years but it broke loose just from releasing the e-brake. Good luck.
