Default Coil Pack Question?

Alright so i ran the codes and im pretty sure i need a new coil pack. Anyway, my friend has a perfectly fine working one for his ranger of the same year. I was wondering if it was possible to use that one? do its a V6 as well and a Ford. Are they the same or could i make it work?

It looks like it will work the same, according to Rockauto. I would just double check thier site to make sure the part number match your Mustang. The Ranger has a couple different V6 motors listed.

What in your codes make you think that you need a new coil? What is it doing?

Look at this link and see if you find the right ranger....

i got the fuel system pretty much completely replaced and now its skipping. the mechanic said it was because of the coil pack but i can do that myself so if i can get my friends for free im gonna jump on it.

were gonna try it out today, stay tuned for results lol
