Yours does sound pretty good for a v6 but having the extra cubes and cam help. The wife's 98 is gonna get a 4.2 next summer hopefully and eventually a M90 on top.

id stick with the SC 3.8 then. Its slightly forged.

Eh for a v-6 mine sounds alright =) look up brad2130 on youtube! Just ignore my preliminary run at the strip. it sounded like a$$ that night. But besides that my exhaust set up sounds alright!

Lol but the x pipe gives it that nascar raspy. and it sounds better then straight pipe. But I haven't seen much with h pipe. U think so?

These are even firing engines. H or X doesn't matter nor does it change the sound of them. Sound is in engine build, long tube or short manifolds, pipe diameter and the style of mufflers you choose.
