Default Headlight Recommendation

I wanted to get something brighter then stock, so I just wasted my money on these NightGuide 3n1 color bulbs, they are crap.
What can someone recommend that is bright as possible without actually switching to HID. Someone told me the Xenon. Can my car handle the 5000K 100/80W as opposed to the stock 65/55w ?

Try these out; you should be able to get them at your local Auto store. I picked some up at Wal-Mart a few years back. Always worked great for me. Just make sure your lights are shooting out in the proper direction!!!

As far as current draw you will see an additional 2 amps per light on low beam (4.2 vs 6.15) and 2.7 per lamp on high (5 vs 7.7).

I would think the wiring would handle them, but hard to say on teh fuse as it is shared by so many systems.

I like the Sylvannia Silver Star bulbs. I just polished all the lenses around the house and it really improves light output.

Would I be able to bump up the fuse?

Yes you can but it shouldn't be an issue. Cleaning/polishing the headlight lens does help....

I just changed mine, cant remember the exact model or what not, nothing special no HID's or anything. But honestly, my new bulbs one LOW beams, are as bright as my old ones on HIGH beams...night and day difference...I can actually slightly see my headlights in pure daylight.

I'm trying to to decide between the Wagner 9007TV Halogen 65/55 and the Xenon 100/80, I just dont want to fry any wires or anything. Polishing is not an issue, my len's are both brand new.

Ah, Jeff, I just looked that up, now I know why, because those are Xenon, they ARE brighter then normal. I'm going to Napa later, I'll compare that one to their suggested one. I know stock is 3000K (Kelvin) and your suggestion is 4000K, the brightest without HID is 5000k.
