I was wondering if there are any legit websites to buy a 3.8l v6 motor from. mine has over 200k and just looking for some websites for when the day comes she goes to hell.

 

Just a suggestion, you can get them at a NAPA auto parts, its re-manufactured, but its only ~$2200. but ive seen a couple of site around, can't remember any right now

 

will they ship because there isnt a napa any where near where i live

 

A lot of the auto parts stores sell reman engines. Not sure of the quality, but they do come with warranties.

 

well a used complete w/ accessories and tranny might cost ya 500ish on craigs list.

If you want jsut a block you can look on ebay, LKQ seems to be good.

Might look into a 4.2 block for a little performace for the same effort/price. EXACT same block w/ different internals, ECU would adjust to it.

Look into it though.
