i have a 2001 v6 vert and rain got in through a hole in the top.

i think the pcm/ecu is burned out. here are my symptoms. the mileage on the speedometer is blank, the car cranks but doesnt start.

my question is, can i buy a used ecu/pcm and swap it without programming new keys or what do i do?
