Default Pacesetter Longtube headers

Im looking at getting a pair of PaceSetter longtubes (70-3220) Says it will fit models without Air Inj or EGR?

How can i tell if mine has either? just pop the hood and look..

You do have an EGR, all cars from the factory have one. As for air inj Im not sure what that is suppose to mean. They should work fine.

MAC Long tubes have the EGR bung welded in so they are easier to get to pass emissions

Pacesetter provides a set with the EGR bung also if that is your preference. Just place special attention to the year/model selection. You see contradiction all the time (ie. '98 model not included at all and '96, '97 is included with the later '00 models) A bit confusing but enough research and maybe a phone call will clarify things before the purchase. Good luck!

As stated all mustangs have EGR. Air injection was an optional feature by ford for states with strict smog emissions. Asside from the EGR if the car has air injection their will be another line going into the headers, if there are no lines other than the EGR, then it's not air injection.

How do you pass the TX inspection? It's not street legal without the EGR in place and working.
