Okay guys, im stumped. Im actually pretty annoyed. SO i messed up my oil pan, and decided, well let me just take out the engine, replace the oil pan in comfort, and might as well do everything i wanted to do. my car had a shake everytime it changed gears, i came to the conclusion that it was the throwout bearing. So i took down my transmission, checked the clutch and it was ok, checked the flywheel, no hotspots, checked my throwout bearing and surprisingly it was in good condition. But when it did a circular motion, it moved. Like an oval? im not sure. Anyway, i showed it to some people and they agreed it was bad. I went to advance auto parts, bought a new throwout bearing, when i open it, i check it, and it does the same exact thing. So is it just my luck that the new throwout bearing is bad too? or is something else causing my baby to shake when it changes gears? OH, and is the sensor that connects to the top left side of the throttle body really necessary? i accidentally smushed it when i was putting back my intake manifold, and when i was attempting to remove the intake manifold, the bolt stripped. So i really dont know what to do at the moment. Thanks

Well. I'm not an expert, but that sensor that got smushed. I believe that is your Throttle position sensor. I dont think that would accompy to the shaking of your car. The shaking of your car, may perhaps be linked to your input shaft. Did it get bent at all? Perhaps? Have you checked the drive shaft to see if any bolts are loose? My brother about killed my car when we swapped the motor because he didn't tighten the drive shaft and my car shook HORRIABLY.

So i went to the auto parts, turns out the part was defective. And the sensor is the idle control sensor. Now im trying to see if i can replace it, or do something. Thanks though, appreciate your help.

Well that's good! But I was doing some research. I haave a 5 speed as well. If the flywheel got bent when u messed up the oil pan. It may of hair lipped it causing the vibration! Just a thought for when u check it again!

Oh man, that's horriable. i hate to hear that for ya! but hey glad i can help! if i were you. i wouldnt do a 5.0 swap (if your tlking about the old 94-95) motor. They were casterarted by Ford. they got horriable mpg, lacked power, and dependability. You should check out my video on youtube (type in brad2130). our lil sixxers will spank em =)..so if your willing to do a swap. find a killed 99-04 mustang GT that has slid on its roof. lol with a good motor and tranny. then you can have something to brag about =P plus its relatively cheap these days on copart.com
