I need some info on Nos, is it worth the money? also, wet or dry? which is worse for your engine.

it's only called nos if you're talking about the brand "NOS". it's very worth the money. you'll see the same gains, if not more with it as you will a supercharger for much cheaper. i'm not sure how much a v6 can take, but i think it's like up to a 75 shot. that's a lot of horses for $500 for the kit, then another $300 or so for a chip. who cares about bottle refills? you'll probably go through a bottle a month. that's still better than paying $3500+ for a whole supercharger kit.

wet or dry, doesn't matter. from all i've read, dry kits are easier to hook up, i dunno, i've never done either. the difference is wet sprays fuel with the nitrous shot, dry relies on your injectors for the extra fuel needed.

Ebay has a few no2 kits for sale, but you can find them at most online mustang performance sites, so shop around and find a good buy. Warning!!! no2 pushes your engine beyond its normal capacity so there is a good chance that you could blow a piston, burn up your transmission, or shatter your bearings. This happened to a good buddy of mine. He shot his # 3&4 pistons right out of his hood. If you do decide to buy be sure to ask the buyer on some saftey tips you can take to avoid this problem. Other than that no2 kits are great to have and they add an extra flare to your cars looks.

Pep Boys sells a wet NX NO2 kit complete for around 599.00. We put a 100 shot kit on my sons girlfriends V6 Camaro with a Hypertech programmer that has an N02 setting. Nothing else has been done to it and it's f**king fast. It's funny because it doesn't have possi yet and it spins the drive tire like it's on ice, LMAO!!! The first couple weeks we went through a bottle a week.

I'll look into it. I like trying new things for chits and googles. You know I have a pro charger sitting in my shop as we speak, all it needs are the brackets. I've been putting it off for almost a year, LOL. [8D]
