Dyno test show that Magnaflow full exhast systems (x or y pipes with a magnaflow cat-back) create the best hp out of all the other brands. They are very expensive, but its well worth the money. In my opinion they also create the best sound, especially for a 6, out of all the other brands. Make sure you get MAC headers or some other high flow system so that you can get the greatest hp output. You may want to try the x pipes because they produce a better cleaner sound and also a little more hp then h pipes. H pipes have a rather deap and somewhat noisey sound that really only sounds OK on v8s. This will cost about 800-1200 dollars depending on where and how you purchase them (price includes an x or y pipe, cat backs, and new headers).

This system is alright, but you are really not going to get a big hp gain. Y pipe cat backs only create the image of a true dual exhaust system. They do offer a little deaper sound, but only realistically create about 5-10 more hp. If you can save up the money buy a true cat back system you'll like it much more.

if you want dualies, just buy someone's old GT take-off for $50-$100 and have an exhaust shop put it on for another $100 or so.

Yes you can get magnaflows from most online websites. The x pipes are advertised for v8s but will fit v6s. Just make sure the tube size is 2.5". Ebay has some good deals, but rpm outlet.com will ship the to you for free, wich is great considering shipping cost between $100-$250. A GT exhaust will give you a better sound, but won't increase hp a whole due to the fact that they are Ford made and must meet diferent enviromental standards than aftermarket exhaust do.
