any tips on installing these on a 04 v6 mustang auto, they are MAc shorty headers HTS coating. Install is a bitch and would cost me around 400 so I'd rather do it myself, any tips are helpful.

Also where can i find a 73mm MAF housing, directions on how to take everyhting off and install the headers would be sweet to if you want to email me( bigpapa748617@yahoo.com ) that would be much appreciated.

Thanx guyz keep it up I will be sure to mention all you when I start smokin GT's with my stage 2+ kit from supersixmotors, hell ya!! I am just preparing everyhting else so i can put this on and have everything minor allready.

You can get a grat deal on a 73mm MAF from rpmoutlet.com, also check out their pulley packages, and their 70mm throttle bodies. No tips on how to do your headers. Just get them installed professionaly, that way if they screw up, they pay for it.

Yup, they are really hard to reach. Definately get them installed at a shop.

Is it too late to trade them in for long tubes? Shorties will give you maybe 4 rwhp across the power band...

no its not too late i havent bought them yet but they r cheap only 233 shipped. The long tubes i thought u had to have an x or h pipe and a manual tho. The differance isnt worth the money to me. its like 5 for shorty's and like 9010 for long tube plus i just want the sound right now.But i did want long tubes if there was a cheaper way.

shorties will do almost nothing for you both soundwise and hp wise. If you really want headers look into lt's. Im not entirely sure on who makes lt's for a v6 youll just have to do some research.

LT's are not emissions legal if that is an issue in your state and will make your v6 sound like a honda. Lt's are meant for hp and only that...not "good" sound etc
