Post Please Help

I just got a 2000 Ford Mustang base v6 standard transmission. My car intermittently stalls and then dies. It happens at random times after the car has been driven for about an hour or less. First it will slow down for 50 or 60mph and when i press on the gas its likes i am pressing the break instead, then it will just die, but will start back up like nothing ever happened and it will do it again. It also shakes horribly when it starts stalling to die and even worse when i press the gas I have taken it to a mechanic to get a pinpoint diagnostics test. It sat there for 5-6 days and they couldn't tell me what was wrong with it. I have previously had codes that both o2 sensor where running lean but now they are fine and the car say there's a vacuum leak. I don't know what to do please give me some advice.

Welcome to the forum. You can get some carb cleaner and spray around the fittings of the vacuum hoses while it is running. Idle changes, you found the leak. You can also search vacuum leak and will take you to other threads that may help.

If you do a search and that doesn't help make sure you re-post this in the tech section. Here's the link:

Your troubles will get more attention and you will hear from the experts. Good luck.
