Default New guy new to 'Stangs

What's goin' everybody? Been lurkin' around here for a couple months now, figured I'd go ahead and sign up finally.

This should probably be in the new member forum, but honestly I don't feel like putting up with the V8 guys talkin' crap about my lil ole V6.

Well I'm from Texas, 28, been a GM guy all my life until about a year ago I was working at a repair shop and one of our regular customers had a 96 GT vert... Test driving that car was the most fun I had at that job. Even though it wasn't as fast as say, the 99 LS1 TA I used to have, it was just more fun to drive. I swore my next car would be a Mustang.

Few months ago the Jeep I had was barely runnin' on it's last leg and the time had come, I needed a new car. Long story short (too late, right?) the best Mustang I could find, that I could make payments on (I'm a broke S.O.B. with even less credit than I have money) was a 2000 v6 5 speed.

Even though it's not a GT I still love this freakin' car. And with the wealth of knowledge on this site, I will make it even better. Slowly, yes, but surely.

At this point it's pretty much all stock, only thing I know that has been done to it is the exhaust. Buuuuut whoever did it would benefit from a good slap. You see, it has one aftermarket muffler, and one stock... wtf?

Two days ago I came across some wheels from a I believe 99 GT with tires with around 80 percent tread for 50 bucks. HAD to jump on that. Only bad thing is they are spray painted black. Don't worry, they won't stay like that. Will be getting them powder coated pretty soon. Either way, they look a whole hell of a lot better than the stock wheels that were on it.

I have many plans for this car, but it's going to take forever to get'em done. But the journey is the best part, right?..... RIGHT??? LOL

Anyway, enough of flappin' my gums, I know yall want pics! Here's one to start, if ya want any specific pics just ask.

First off welcome. Yes those are GT rims off a 99 (cant argue with 50 bucks). Hope we can help with any questions you might have. Good luck with the car.
