Default Engine bogging down?

i have a 1998 v6 3.8. i bought it with dual exhaust, had to cut the cats out, recealed the head gaskets. Runs much better but it feels like its not gettin the right air to fuel mixture when i accelerate. How do i get better acceleration? change the throttle body? everything is stock.

When you cut the cats out some poeple say that with that big loss in back pressure you lose low end torque, which is what gives you acceleration.

put the cats back in or put high flow cats on. You are loosing back pressure without them thus hurting your performance.
