Well for $10,000 plus about a weeks worth of work, you could buy the complete terminator motor, drivetrain, and electronics system and have a 390 hp car lol.

If it's only in stop and go traffic, I'd look at the fan first. It's probably not kicking on when it should. It's an easy check. Pop the hood, start the car, put the A/C on max and see if the radiator fan kicks on (it should).

I do. It feels completely different than the civics, and corollas that I'm used to. Even the doors feel different.

Ok, I spoke to my family mechanic. No charge examination of the car. Needs transmission/motor mount and a clutch adjustment. New tires and parking brake. Other than that I should be golden. (in addition to maintenance)

What's interesting is because of limited time I started getting quotes for some of the repairs. I didn't realize how much money I had saved by doing the things I have already done myself and how much more I'll save by continuing the process. I picked this up as a hobby, how interesting...

And I'm seriously enjoying taking apart panels to poke and put back together.
