humm.. 3 pulls with AF is usually gonna run you about $75-$100. depends on the place. may be cheaper, may be more.

 

My guy charges $90.00 for the 3 pulls. Actually, he could charge a lot more. He's the ONLY chassis dyno in the county.

 

here in michigan you get 3 runs for 75 bucks or cheaper.

does that include AF though, baby? the place that does them around here only charges $75 for 3 pulls without the AF reading. it's an extra $25 for AF.

damn 03yellow. if he's the only one he could get soooo much more. he could charge $200 for 3 pulls and people would probably pay it.

 

Yup. We've talked about it. He says he's just not into gouging ppl. He's a really great guy. He lets ya watch the whole thing. Up close and personal!

 

yeah, the shop here lets you watch too. i hate seeing my car being taken to redline without me being the one to do it, but they would never hurt my car. especially when it's on their time. if they blew up my engine i'd be like "wtf? you blew up my engine and disintegrated my KB that was on it!!!"

what is AF, and what does 3 times mean.

 

AF is the Air/Fuel readings. Lets ya know if you're runniung rich, lean or just right. NORMALLY, cars are set at what's called Llambda. That's 14:1 ratio. 14 parts air to 1 part fuel. Tuners go to somewhere around 12:1, which is where mine is now, to 9:1. I'm going to shoot for around 10:1 or 10.5:1. This produces more HP. It makes the fuel burn more efficient.
3 runs or pulls, means just that. They do the dyno 3 times. The best rating is what most ppl "brag" about. Like mine was 162.7 RWHP.
