Swirl/scratch problems
What do you do for swirls and scratches on your Stang? Some people told me to use the swirl remover. But I want to use something that is fast and easy since the Stang is my d.d.
What brand should I get and should I get something other than a swirl remover?

I use Meguiar's swirl remover. I change to a softer buffing wheel and make sure it is clean because the least bit of dust or residual compound can put swirls right back on the paint.
For scratches, it depends on the size. Swirl remover isn't very aggressive so it won't take out many scratches.

Other than the post-winter buff, my system primarily consists of rubbing down the wax with a towel with an occasional quick wax or detailer application.
Remember: if you just shine up the highlights, the whole car looks shiny.
The details:
For my DD, I decided that perfection is not maintainable and would result in over-buffing the paint.
1:At the end of the Winter, I compound and
2:use swirl remover to get the paint looking great.
3:Then I power wax it with a high quality wax. With a great looking base, all I have to do for the rest of the Summer is
4:hose off the dirt and wipe down with a soft towel.
5:To keep the wax shining, I rub it down with one of the "Wax while you Dry" products.
6:If I am in a hurry, I use a "Quick Detailer" to wipe off the dirt.
I like Meguiar's brand but I shop garage sales for detailing products. Most are fine.
I hope this is helpful.
