Sqeaking While Driving
When I drive the car squeaks when I'm not on the brakes. The squeak sounds almost like a bird chirping and is not too... loud. It also sounds like it is coming from the rear passenger wheel. I took it to three different shops and they can not find it. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Does it squeak only when your moving, or is it happen when stopped? Does the squeak change depending on your speed? If your moving and you apply the brakes, does the squeak go away until you release the brakes? Were the shops you brought it to able to reproduce the problem, but couldn't figure it out?
The squeak only occurs while moving. I do not think it changes with different intervals of speed. The squeak does go away unless I apply very light pressure then it makes a loud squeaking noise but again that is with very light pressure. The shops ussually say they can not find any squeaking noise but it is fairly obvious as I have had people ride along with me and hear it. The one said I had a loose back pad and fixed the noise for a few days. I ran my car off the road about 8 months ago (damn rain) and slid in the grass no damage though I'm not sure if that could have anything to do with it. (It slid on the now squeaking side.)
